Women who take time off work to raise children or look after relatives will not be penalised under new proposals by the Conservative party.
They plan to create a 'family friendly' system that makes sure women will not miss out on a pension later in life. The government and the Liberal Democrats both agree that the system needs to be changed, as it is currently so unfair.
