More Prudential Bonus Cuts

Prudential has again decided to cut with profits annual bonuses and final maturity payouts as stock markets continue to perform poorly.

Annual bonuses on personal pensions will reduce from 4.5% to 3.5%.  Holders of the Prudence Bond will have their bonuses cut to 3.25% from 4%.

In terms of final maturity payouts pension values will be cut by no more than 12%.  Other policies will have their values cut by no more than 10%.

Tip: If you are thinking of surrendering your with profits investment, check the penalties applying before you act.
