More booze? You Lose

Standard Life are warning that the excessive drinking habits in Britain, could lead to an increase in premiums for life, medical and critical illness insurance.  Standard Life has found that average adults alcohol intake is almost 3,000 calories a week, which equates to an extra 44lb to their body weight.  

This of course leads to alcohol-induced obesity.  Standard Life protection Manger Mick James, commented that with obesity is a growing concern to public health.  People may even find that they are unable to get cover for life insurance, medical insurance or critical illness cover.

The reality hurts us all.  Everything in moderation and we remain healthy, wealthy and wise.
