Money Market Interest Rates Fall

Short term money market rates, the indicator for demand and willingness for banks to lend to each other, fell slightly on the back of increased confidence in the banking system.

This is a significant change in attitude from the last few months and shows a slight improvement in overall confidence with the hope that inter-bank lending will return to normal.
