Legal and General 500 Jobs Cut
Insurance giant Legal and General has confirmed that it is in consultation to cut 560 jobs from its investment and savings arm.
Legal and General employs over 8,000 people in the UK and these job losses, will involve around 300 permanent staff and 260 temporary staff.
These job losses follow initial cuts of around 500 jobs announced in February and follows a general trend in financial services to rationalise and reduce costs during the current financial downturn.
