The English Community Care Association (ECCA) has issued a warning that there is a crisis in the older age care sector at the moment with a severe shortage of beds. They claim that by 2015 there will be an extra 2.3m people over the age of 65 and that the rate of growth of care homes compared to the ageing population will fall well short.
