According to the most recent Investor Confidence survey from JP Morgan Fleming, it has reached the highest point in more than a year. The index rose from 79 points in May to 89 points in June this year. To put the survey together, 500 investors were questioned with over 40% believing that the stock market would be higher in six months time. Just short of 25% believed it would be lower. A spokesman for JP Morgan Fleming said: "Confidence has been driven by the stock market rally over the past few months. Most expect this to continue over the next six months and see the threat of declining equity returns receding"
