Interest Rates Stay Same

The Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee has voted today to keep interest rates pegged at 4.75%.

Our View

A result expected all round.   We suggested after the last rise that October would not see a rise but expect one more rise before the end of the year and two more by the end June next year.
