Interest Rates Stay At 4.5%

The Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee has today voted to keep interest rates at 4.5% following last month's increase.

Our view

No surprises here.  After last month's increase they will sit tight and await the impact of the same.  We still expect at least one and may be two more increases by the end of the year!
