Interest Rates Held 0.5% Again

by Ashley Clark, Director

Bank Base Interest Rates has been maintained at 0.5% for the 15th consecutive month.

The Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England voted today to maintain Base Interest Rates at current levels amid ongoing economic uncertainty.

The decision has been welcomed by business and finance professionals alike.  Consumers are also happy given that many still remain Standard Variable Rate mortgages that they are finding hard to remortgage elsewhere.
