ING Bank Axes 7,000 Jobs
Dutch Bank ING is to make 7,000 out of a 130,000 workforce redundant in an effort to reduce costs to £1bn.
The troubled bank and insurance giant received a capital injection of €10bn in October and this move appears to be a further one to consolidate its position in the ever turbulent financial services market.
The job losses are expected across its European operations.
