ING €10bn Dutch Bank Capital Injection

The Dutch Government has moved to ensure continued confidence in its banking system and groups by making €20bn available to Dutch banks with giant ING being the first to benefit with a €10bn capital injection last week.  

ING suggested that there are no problems with its own model, it is merely the fact that confidence has fallen in Benelux institutions, following major credit issues with Dutch-Belgian Bank Fortis.
