IMF Head Resigns.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, has resigned as managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to concentrate on proving his innocence over the recent sexual assault charges.

In his letter of resignation, he denies the allegations made against him and states he wants to devote his time to proving his innocence.

John Lipsky will remain as acting managing director whilst the IMF being their search for a new managing director.
