Alliance and Leicester's Wealth Tracker Index has shown that nearly half of people in the UK said their biggest financial regret of 2004, was not saving enough.
A third of these said were more worried about their savings than in 2003.
Our view
Whilst surveys generally lead people to certain conclusions anyway, this is certainly an interesting turn.
The problem, as ever, is most people talk about saving but not as many take action.
