Icesave Deal

According to a spokesman from the UK treasury, the UK and the Netherlands are within days of securing a deal with Iceland over the repayment of the money given to Landsbanki Icesave account holders following the bank collapse in 2008.

One of the main points of the deal is for the money to be paid back with an interest rate of 2.78 per cent.
