Housing Market Different Paces

Housing Market Different Paces.

The Land Registry has produced figures that show the housing market is rising and falling at two different paces, depending on the location.

February saw house prices in London rise yet again. However, house prices in the north east of England did not see the same trend.

The housing market in London is continuing to rise at a fast moving pace, while the market in other parts of England is slower. The average house price in England and Wales cost around £170,000 in February, which is a 5.3% increase compared with 2013.

The housing market in London is doing brilliant while some other parts of the country are still seeing a slight slump. For example the average price in the north east alone stood at £100,000.
