Household Income Rise Next Year

Household Income Rise Next Year.

A study by the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) has suggested that UK households are going to see a rise in income levels from next year, this will be the 1st time since the start of the financial crisis.  This rise is taking into account inflation and suggesting that incomes will rise by 0.5% in 2013, but will see a crop this year of 0.2%.

This may be a good thing as households have struggled in previous years with low or no wage rises and relatively high inflation.  A Consumer Price Index showed that inflation saw a sharp rise between September 2009 and September 2011 to 2.1%.  Although that figure has slowly decreased since then to 2.6% despite a little increase last month.
