The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has suggested that house price rises seen in the summer are likely to continue for the rest of the year.
They suggest that property demand is up and will continue for the short term with prices up in 2009 by 4.1%, but still down over a 12 month period.
We expect property to be stable in London but to suffer slight falls early in 2010 across the country and a rise overall on the year towards the end of 2010 by around 3%.
