Yet another survey has been released, telling us that home insurance is too expensive. We wholeheartedly agree with the claim.
According to the research, the average premium for home insurance during January 2004 was £348.85. By shopping around, cheaper premiums of £227.03 could be obtained with exactly the same cover.
Our View
All insurance is expensive and everyone should shop around. Be it home, car or life insurance, everyone could benefit from cheaper premiums. Simply taking half an hour to shop around for a more competitive deal could save you hundreds of pounds each year.
