The Consumers Association undertook a survey into the introduction of Home Information Packs recently.
According to the association, 82% of the 1018 adults surveyed would welcome the use of Home Information Packs.
Our View
The results of the survey are quite surprising, especially as there will be a cost involved of between £500 to £1,000.
However, the more information you have about a property the better. This will speed up the buying and selling process and people will become more informed. It should also speed up the decision regarding whether or not to purchase a property.
