HMRC Targets Cash Business Tax Dodgers.
HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) plans to launch 30 new task forces over the next 2 years, in an attempt to crack down on tax avoidance and evasion.
The teams will concentrate on business sectors and locations where they suspect tax evasion, including the fashion industry, indoor and outdoor markets and the motor trade.
According to HMRC, it expects to collect over £50m as a result of 12 task forces set up in the last year.
