Market commentators are saying, following the announcement last week that AMP is reviewing its structure, that Henderson Global Investors, the brand that AMP are set to retain and promote for its UK operations, could come under increasing pressure.
Many are saying that with the potential demise or indeed leaving out in the cold investors and brands such as London Life, Pearl and NPI, investors may not take too kindly and may shy away from investing with the existing Henderson brand.
There is also the risk that financial advisers may not be keen to use AMP under the Henderson brand given that it may cause significant concern with clients who have already had business placed with the "Up for Sale Three"
