Hedge Fund Problems

Gearing (i.e.  overborrowing) or exposure to highest risk financial share instruments by certain hedge funds has led to huge pressure on hedge funds to liquidate assets to maintain solvency.

This suggestion was made in the Bank of England’s twice yearly Financial Stability Report” and does not bode well for hedge funds in the short term.
