New research from Legal & General has found that people who look after their health are more likely to look after their money too! From the 1,000 people who were polled, 71% admit to having an unhealthy or unbalanced lifestyle, compared to 29% who claim to have a healthy regime. The 17% of respondents who are unhealthy – taking no exercise and no interest in what they eat – also make the worst money managers, with 73% of them not planning or saving regularly.
Of the 54% who admit to having an unbalanced lifestyle – either exercising but not watching what they eat, or vice versa, 58% are failing to plan financially. The ones who look after themselves, with a healthy diet and exercise, are the best money managers, with 57% planning and saving regularly.
