With possible war looming, the Association of British Insurers has spoken out to reassure members of the Armed Forces.
According to the ABI, life insurance policies will not be affected by service in the Gulf. However, for those people not already covered, many insurance companies may not cover you if you go into a high-risk area. At least one company said that they would still offer cover to anyone posted to the Gulf. However, they did say that fast jet pilots and Special Forces personnel might be excluded.
