The interim report of Otto Thoresen’s government sponsored review into generic financial advice has been widely greeted across the industry. Thoresen suggests that the cost of between £40m and £80m a year should be shared between the industry and the government.
Our view
We have always suggested that a web based delivery system for generic financial advice such as could offer consistent, generic financial information online for all. Watch this space.
