
Game to Float 340m.
The games retailer Game is to relist on the London Stock Exchange on 11th June at £340m. The video games retailer will sell shares at 200 pence per share and is expecting to raise £121m for existing shareholders.
The newly renamed Game Digital originally had two store chains which they traded under Game and Gamestation before filing for administration 2 years ago. The firm closed 277 UK stores and sold the remaining 333 UK shops. Most of the stores closed were the shops that were trading under Gamestation.
The firm was originally valued at £400m.
Game is a specialist store selling only video game and tech, including merchandise, second hand games and accessories which includes its own licenced products.
The group is intending to float 35% of the business and the majority stake will remain with Hedge fund Elliot Advisors.
