The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has issued a report to the Chancellor calling for a budget (April 8) to assist business rather than hinder it. In their report, they say that there has been a significant increase in business failures due to taxation issues, red tape, increased costs, increased liability insurance costs and the like.
Our view
Whilst the Chancellor has made the UK an excellent place to dispose of or sell shares in a business with changes to capital gains tax rules last year, he is not assisting those wishing to start up.
