Friends Provident Increases Bonus Rates

Friends Provident released good news for investors about with profits bonus rates. According to the life and pensions provider, bonus rates have either increased or remained unchanged over the past year.
Based on the returns received on investments, Friends Provident also confirmed that the Market Value Reduction penalty that had been introduced in October 2008 had been removed for virtually all policies.
In simple terms, investors should have seen the cash in value of their policies increase by around 10% during the period to February 2009, as opposed to the previous February in 2008.
