First Time Buyers Borrowing GBP130 000

Abbey have conducted a recent survey and found that first time buyers are now borrowing more and the average mortgage is £130,000.  

There has also been an increase in the number of people borrowing more than 75 per cent loan-to-value.  

Our view

It is for first time buyers to get on the property ladder.  Property prices are comparatively high and there is a huge choice of mortgages available.
