Financial Services Sector Growth.
The UK Financial Services sector is continuing its strong recovery in 2012 with increased job demand as stability and confidence returns after a bleak 4 years.
Research by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and the Confederation of British Industry found that both new business sales and staff recruitment increased for eight quarter in a row.
One in five financial services businesses are recruiting and expanding on the back of improved confidence, although we suggest this will be for smaller companies rather than larger ones who have much more pressure to contend with to control costs and meet new capital stability requirements set down by the EU and due to come into force over the next couple of years.
