Financial Services Regulator To Be Investigated

The Financial Services Authority (FSA), the body that polices the financial industry, is to have its own affairs monitored by a parliamentary committee.  Questions have always been around of who regulates the regulator as dismay and critical voices have been heard around both the industry and Government for some time.

The committee will be lead by Lord Norton of Louth and is ground breaking as the FSA was one of the few regulatory bodies that until now did not have to answer to or report to anyone.
