Following the UK leaving the EU in March 2019 the Treasury Select Committee will plan an inquiry into the future of UK financial services regulations.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will be given new powers and prepare to make changes in readiness.
An inquiry into post Brexit financial services will be set in motion in relation to the UK’s future with the EU. The rumour comes soon after alleged reports of a potential trade deal for financial services but no details have been revealed as yet to confirm this.
