Research by the website 50connect.co.uk have found that financial products are some of the most popular internet searches among people over 50.
Pension planning was the most popular search, followed by home insurance, then mobile phones and inheritance tax.
These results follow another report released by Datamonitor, which found that the over-50's are being ignored by providers, despite controlling much of the UK's wealth.
