According to statistics released by Key Retirement Solutions, the equity release market is growing rapidly. The figures show the value of equity release business completed in the first quarter of this year was £376 million. The numbers of equity release schemes have increased by 38.5% (£271 million), from the same period in 2004, and they seem to be most popular in Brighton and Birmingham.
