During the review of top up pensions, around 100,000 people's cases are said to have been reviewed in case of mis-selling.
The review of additional voluntary pension contributions has now come to an end after starting in February 2000.
£250,000 is due to be paid out to consumers who were mis-sold these extra pensions and £240,000 of it has already been distributed.
