Employees Want Benefits

According to AON, the majority of employees would be prepared to give up some of their pay in return for better benefits.  Of the 2000 surveyed, a large number said they would like additional holiday entitlements and opportunities for career breaks.  Others said they would opt for health treatment.

OK, so your employer comes to you and says that he will give you extra holidays if you take a pay cut.  How many people would actually do this?

With inflation and interest rates on the up and the knock on effect for mortgages and borrowing, the general public need to get their hands on as much income as they can.

Whilst we would all like additional benefits from work, when it comes to the crunch of giving up part of your salary in return for them, we really don't think people would do it.
