Economic Downturn Slows Down

Economic Downturn Slows Down.

The Office for National Statistics has revised its fugures upwards this month suggesting that the forecast economic downturn of -0.7% will now be -0.5%.

In short, the ecomony is still shrinking but not shrinking as much as it was.

Hardly great news for Mr Osborne, but better than it was.

We expect worse economic downturn figures next month as the "Olympic Boom" moves out of the figures.
