Dip For Individual Savings Accounts

Statistics have shown that sales of the individual savings accounts have fallen slightly compared with last year. However, this dip is fully expected and experts are confident that the market will improve.

It has also been reported that despite the dip, sales are still higher than the same time last year. Retail investors continue to prefer property funds, which is keeping the specialist sector buoyant.

Our view

It is surprising that ISAs are not the main stay savings vehicle, given its tax advantages. Property funds, we suggest though, may not be the right place to invest at the present time.
