The end of the tax year has now gone and many investment providers are confirming the worst ISA season on record. The Association of Investment Trust Companies conducted a survey and concluded that almost one third of the eligible population have not invested in an Individual Savings Account this year.
According to the survey that was conducted in March, these figures could actually be much higher. At the time, almost two thirds of people had not used their ISA allowance. The same survey was conducted in January this year and even then, over half of the people said they did not intend to use their allowance.

Despite providers harping on about a poor ISA season, you should only invest if you feel comfortable to do so and have received advice regarding where to invest. If you are not sure you should not invest in anything. Never let the carrot of taxation cloud your views.
