On 6 April 2003 the Government withdrew some tax credits and replaced them with two new ones - The Child Tax Credit and the Working Tax Credit. BUT, just before you stop reading, thinking you won't be entitled to anything, think again!
According to the Government 9 out of 10 families with children are entitled to tax credits. But you don't need to have children to qualify.
