Civil Partnership Life Insurance

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has published new guidance concerning civil partnership issues for gay men who have had HIV tests and are seeking life insurance.  The document advises most insurers will not differentiate between people in or not in civil partnership, but many people will still require HIV tests on the new guides.  It recommends people take advice in choosing providers with this in mind.

We believe the amendments gives clear instruction on the industry’s position when dealing with civil partnership insurance.
