Choice Not Chance Campaign

Choice Not Chance Campaign.

The Government this week has launched a campaign via the Ministry of Justice website to encourage people to make Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

The campaign is called 'choice not chance' and is being supported by the Ministry of Justice website as well as the publication of a series of posters with images, for example: of people who have lost physical or mental capacity.

We have long campaigned for every single client that we have to have made their wills to protect loved ones in the event of death.

We have always raised the question with our clients: "what if you don't die?"  We suggest a lasting power of attorney is more important than your will as it gives people, whom you appoint via the Office for the Public Guardian the power to look after either your health or your wealth (there are two different types of lasting power of attorney) should you lose physical or mental capacity.

Do not ignore the choice not chance campaign. Contact us today and ask about the costs of lasting powers of attorney and wills.

They sound difficult, but we can make your Lasting Power of Attorney and Will making process as easy as just anwering a few questions in your own works and we will do the rest.
