Child Trust Funds End

George Osborne has officially announced that Child Trust Funds will be scrapped as part of the Government’s spending cuts.

Our View: About time too.  Child Trust Funds were destined to fail as a result of no perceived value by consumers and the difficulty in obtaining advice regarding where to invest the vouchers.  The savings can be put to far better use reducing the deficit.
