Chancellor Warns RBS On Bonuses

Chancellor Alistair Darling has told RBS that failure should not be rewarded with huge bonuses,

He admitted on BBC TV this morning that RBS bosses had been advised of the Government’s concern and but also that some bonuses could not be avoided as they are part pf employment contracts.

We suggest he should have made bonus structure a part of key negotiations when giving our money away to poorly managed banks!
