For all of you who may be looking at your pay next month, you may be interested to know that tax code changes normally become effective after the first day on or after 17 May.
Because the Budget is later this year i.e. 17 April 2002. Any changes made to tax or tax codes will not become effective until the first day on or after 17 June 2002. So don't expect too many changes with your pay until then.
