Halifax has found that Brits love to live by the seaside, according to their research into rising house prices.
One hundred towns were surveyed in England and Wales and 71% have enjoyed average yearly increases in property prices of more than 10% over the last seven years.
Brighton has experienced an increase of 193% and Falmouth has enjoyed an increase of 177%.
