Britannic Retirement Solutions, a subsidiary of Britannic Marketing Group, has closed its doors to new business with effect 10 November.
The announcement made in a letter on 10 Novermber did not arrive at our offices until today. Existing customers remain unaffected but no more new business will be accepted.
Our view
A blow to the financial advisory community as Britannic were exxeptionally competitive with advisers in the impaired lives annuity market i.e. if your were not in perfect health they would actually give you a larger pension.
