
bPay Debit Wristbands Fobs Stickers.
Today Barclaycard has launched into the UK an extension of its bPay system by making available ‘touch pay’ contactless enabled wristbands, key fobs and even stickers to pay for low cost items and debit your account.
The contactless pay devices are not just available to Barclaycard customers, but are also available to any a UK-registered Mastercard or Visa debit and credit card.

Contactless payment limits still stand at a maximum transaction of £20, which increases to £30 in August.
Many of us will have experience of contactless use with our Transport for London Oyster Cards for a few years now and over the last two years, more and more debit and credit cards offer contactless facilities.
We first saw the contactless stickers test marketed in Asia and now they appear to becoming main stream for small, fast transactions. There is clearly a risk of fraud if you loses your wristband, fob or sticker, but given the increase in the maximum payment threshold, we suggest
