Big Bank Auditors Too Complacent.

Following examination of the role of auditors KPMG, Deloitte, Ernst & Young and PWC, a House of Lords committee has accused the auditors of complacency and have called for an investigation of the market to be carried out by the Office of Fair Trading.

According to the committee, they believe the financial crisis was made worse by the breakdown of dialogue between bank auditors and regulators.
